Jake is well-balanced, and very correct to standard. He has a great rear, nice high round feet, tight dark eyes, beautiful rich apricot brindling, black mask and ears, short close shiny coat, and good sound movement. He injured his left elbow as a puppy, but it has not had a detrimental effect so far.

My constant companion, he has a superb temperament. He is everything we expect a mastiff to be - intelligent, loving, willing, calm, with a sense of humor. I also have his sister, Sophie, who has the same temperament and personality. They both laugh often. Both visit schools and nursing homes, though they are not yet registered therapy dogs.

Of the five puppies in Jake's litter, three have been submitted and all OFAed. The entire litter is sound, moves well, has correct conformation and excellent temperaments - good consistency.

Jake was recently line bred to a Willow Run bitch. Produced eleven truly fine puppies with loads of pigment - fawn, apricots and brindles. Frozen semen will be available in the future.

As a two year old, Jake finished his championship in two weeks with five consecutive majors and a Best Of Breed over ranking Group Placing specials. Though shown on a very limited basis, he competes effectively with the top mastiffs in the nation, and recently took a Group Second under respected breeder-judge, Eve Olsen Fisher.
